Mixed media exploration is integral to Tania Swift’s work.  Untitled, 2017, embraces this through the exploration of screen printing, collage and the use of paint to subtly experiment with the abstract and obscure in a linear fashion to both intrigue and entice the viewer.  The core concept linking all of her work is female diversity and celebrating women of colour and specifically in this painting, women from East Asia. Women of colour are underrepresented in many fields such as the fashion and media world.  Which ironically are used as sources to underpin her work and in turn aid the creative output.
 
Tania Swift is a multi-disciplined artist/designer who create paintings, prints and fashion garments to celebrate women of colour.
